Pablo Trujillo

I am a performer, academic and film director based in Berlin. I founded the theater collective Phunkenwerk in 2017 and am a student in the MA degree program in film sciences at the Free University of Berlin. My interests lie between the aesthetics of work and contemporary pornography, as well as the development of pieces that touch on these themes.

Intervention: an act of emergency in difficult times. Its consequences are immeasurable, hence its power and its dangers.

Art, academia and the public sphere: they represent money and resources that seek to be privatized. Interpolating them is a way of intervening.

Art's only failure is to believe itself to be apolitical.

Soy performer, académico y director de cine radicado en Berlín. Fundador del teatro colectivo Phunkenwerk en 2017 y estudiante de la maestría en ciencias de cine de la universidad libre de Berlín. Mis intereses se mueven entre la estética del trabajo y la pornografía contemporánea, al igual que en la elaboración de piezas que toquen estas temáticas.
