Klara Beetz

Klara Beetz ist zweites Gründungsmitglied des neu formierten Theaterkollektivs KonzeptKombinat für junges, queeres und (post)ostdeutsches Theater. Als Theatermacher*in ist Klara eng verbunden mit dem aktivistischen Theater & Produktionshaus de Generator in Leiden, Niederlande.
Klara ist Masterstudent*in der Theaterwissenschaft der Freien Universität Berlin, mit dem Interessenschwerpunkt in der Komik- & Lachtheorie an der Schnittstelle zur Queer Theory. Zudem arbeitet Klara studentisch am Sonderforschungsbereich 1512 Intervenierende Künste im Teilprojekt Öffentlichkeiten und ist in dieser Funktion Editor*in von interveningarts.com.

Klara Beetz is the second founding member of the newly formed theater collective KonzeptKombinat for young, queer and (post) East German theater. As a theater maker, Klara is closely associated with the activist theater & production house De Generator in Leiden, the Netherlands. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in theater studies at the Free University of Berlin, Klara specializes in the study of comedy and laughter theory, exploring their intersections with queer theory. Klara also works as a student assistant at the Collaborative Research Centre 1512 Intervening Arts in the sub-project Public Spheres and is one of the editors of interveningarts.com.
