Pauline Voisard

Geboren in Porrentruy (Schweiz), erhielt Pauline Voisard ihre Ballettausbildung zunächst bei der ASPD in Bern (2002–2004) und an der Ballettschule des Theater Basel (2004), bevor sie an die Académie Grétry in Lüttich wechselte (2004–2006) und Mitglied des Jeune Ballet de Liège wurde. Ihre weitere Ausbildung absolvierte sie an der renommierten Ecole Atelier Rudra Béjart in Lausanne (2006), worauf Engagements beim Béjart Ballet Lausanne (2008) und dem Staatsballett Berlin (seit 2014) folgten.

Ihr Repertoire umfasst zahlreiche Werke von Maurice Béjart, darunter Le Sacre du printemps, L’oiseau de feu, Dyonisos, La 9ème Symphonie, Ce que l’amour me dit, Brel et Barbara und Zarathoustra, sowie Choreografien von Gil Roman (Aria, Casino des esprits) und Julio Arozarena (Fais-ce que tu veux avec ces ailes).

Beim Staatsballett Berlin tanzte sie unter anderem in Werken von Ohad Naharin, George Balanchine, Hofesh Shechter, Nacho Duato, John Cranko, Patrice Bart, Mats Ek, Christian Spuck, Pina Bausch, Marcos Morau und vielen anderen. Ihre Vielseitigkeit zeigte sich in klassischen Produktionen wie Schwanensee, Dornröschen, Giselle und La Bayadère, ebenso wie in zeitgenössischen Arbeiten und im Format LAB_WORKS. Darüber hinaus wirkte sie auch choreografisch und präsentierte ihre eigene Arbeit Dinner For Two im Rahmen von Next Generation.

Born in Porrentruy (Switzerland), Pauline Voisard received her ballet training at ASPD in Bern (2002–2004) and the Ballet School of Theater Basel (2004), before continuing at the Académie Grétry in Liège (2004–2006), where she also danced with the Jeune Ballet de Liège. She later trained at the renowned Ecole Atelier Rudra Béjart in Lausanne (2006), which led to engagements with Béjart Ballet Lausanne (2008) and, from 2014 onwards, with the Staatsballett Berlin.

Her repertoire includes numerous works by Maurice Béjart, such as Le Sacre du printemps, L’oiseau de feu, Dyonisos, La 9ème Symphonie, Ce que l’amour me dit, Brel et Barbara, and Zarathoustra, as well as pieces by Gil Roman (Aria, Casino des esprits) and Julio Arozarena (Fais-ce que tu veux avec ces ailes).

At the Staatsballett Berlin, she has performed in works by Ohad Naharin, George Balanchine, Hofesh Shechter, Nacho Duato, John Cranko, Patrice Bart, Mats Ek, Christian Spuck, Pina Bausch, Marcos Morau and many others. Her versatility is evident in both classical productions such as Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, and La Bayadère, as well as in contemporary works and LAB_WORKS creations.She has also presented her own choreography Dinner For Two as part of the Next Generation programme.
