Flora Aviva Hackenberger

Flora Aviva Hackenberger (*1999, Berlin) is a film enthusiast and emerging professional based in Berlin.After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Media Culture with a focus on film at the Bauhaus University Weimar, she is currently pursuing a Master’s in Communication in Social and Economic Contexts at the Berlin University of the Arts.
She has gained experience across various areas of the film industry, including film PR, festival organization, and casting (as an intern on projects such as Bibi Blocksberg und das Hexentreffen, Amrum, and Die Schule der magischen Tiere 4), and is currently working as a student assistant at X-Verleih AG, a Berlin-based film distribution company. Alongside her studies, she has also begun working as a freelance casting director. Most recently, she cast the graduation film Die Neue Frau (working title), produced at the Film University KONRAD WOLF Babelsberg in co-production with 3sat.
Her interests lie at the intersection of media, society, and film – particularly in how audiovisual storytelling both shapes and reflects contemporary culture and communication.
