Deepfake Situations

Deepfake Situations ist ein Performancekollektiv, bestehend aus Felix Falczyk und Johanna Herschel. Sie arbeiten an Strategien und Taktiken der Zweckentfremdung von (alltäglichen) Situationen. Gemeinsam mit dem Publikum konstruieren sie Situationen, in denen neue Verhaltensweisen geprobt, verlernt oder simuliert werden. Ihre Arbeiten wurden u.a. im Mousonturm Frankfurt, Ballhaus Ost Berlin, Nationaltheater Mannheim, zeitraumexit Mannheim, Altofest Neapel (IT), Museum of Contemporary Art Skopje (NMK), beim Implantieren-Festival Frankfurt, Zeitzeug_Festival Bochum, ARENA Festival Erlangen und dem confluence-Festival Stockholm (SE) gezeigt. Vorträge und künstlerische Forschung im Rahmen von The New Centre for Research & Practice (USA) sowie der School for Politics and Critique (NMK).

Deepfake Situations is a performance collective including Felix Falczyk and Johanna Herschel. They work on strategies and tactics for the misappropriation of (everyday) situations. Together with the audience, they construct situations in which new behaviors are rehearsed, unlearned or simulated. Their works have been shown at venues including Mousonturm Frankfurt, Ballhaus Ost Berlin, Nationaltheater Mannheim, zeitraumexit Mannheim, Altofest Naples (IT), Museum of Contemporary Art Skopje (NMK), Implantieren-Festival Frankfurt, Zeitzeug_Festival Bochum, ARENA Festival Erlangen and confluence-Festival Stockholm (SE). Lectures and artistic research at The New Centre for Research & Practice (USA) and the School for Politics and Critique (NMK).
