Aron Kühner

Aron Kühner ist Masterstudent im Studiengang Gesellschafts- und Wirtschaftskommunikation an der Universität der Künste in Berlin. Zuvor studierte er Medienwissenschaft und Anglistik an der Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen.
In seiner wissenschaftlichen und künstlerischen Arbeit beschäftigt er sich mit der Kommunikation über Klima- und Umweltschutz. Ein Schwerpunkt seiner Arbeit liegt auf der Auseinandersetzung mit fossilen Narrativen: Welche Bilder und Geschichten prägen unsere Vorstellungen von einem guten Leben – und wie können wir sie aufbrechen? Aufbauend darauf entwickelt er neue Erzählweisen und Formate, die ein postfossiles Lebensgefühl erfahrbar machen und Räume für gesellschaftlichen Wandel eröffnen. Dabei verbindet er Theorie und visuelle Praxis, die kollektive Kreativität anregen und alternative Narrative einer nachhaltigen Zukunft entwerfen.

Aron Kühner is a MA student in the program Communication in Society and Economic Contexts at the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK). Previously, he studied media studies and English studies at the University of Tübingen.
In his scholarly and artistic work, he concentrates on communication about climate and environmental preservation. One focus of his work is the exploration of fossil narratives: Which images and stories shape our ideas of a good life–and how to challenge them? In addition, he develops new modes of storytelling and formats that make a post-fossil sense of life tangible and open up spaces for social change. In doing so, he combines theory and visual practice to spark collective creativity and envision alternative narratives of a sustainable future.
